Art Quilts by Catherine Little @ Wenaha Gallery

Quilt artist Catherine Little honed her skills while making memory quilts for children who lost their parents at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon during 9/11. Initially trained as a painter, Little creates art quilts of landscapes, birds, flowers, fish, wildlife animals, and even dragons. The White Bird, ID, artist also specializes in fabric art table runners, baby quilts, hot pads, place mats, tea cozies, bed runners and wall hangings. A selection of her work is on special display at Wenaha Gallery, located in Dayton’s historic downtown district, through Saturday, May 19. (The gallery is closed on Sundays.)
