Artist Reception: Lynne & Manibus @ CAVU Cellars

Sarrah Lynne’s paintings are a celebration of the Land and its physical, emotional and spiritual qualities. Through her abstract expressionist style of painting and contour-line drawing, she creates atmospheric reveries, jubilant and reflective in equal measure. Manibus: Hands of Immigrants is a collaborative endeavor between local photographers and residents, in conjunction with the Walla Walla Immigrant Rights Coalition, in an effort to convey the diversity, beauty and vitality of the immigrant community in Walla Walla. Participating artists Kelly Black, Augusta Sparks Farnum, Abby Seethoff, and Ali Walker investigate the ways in which immigrants build and strengthen our community. Together, these works present a dynamic celebration of Walla Walla: the land and the people who call it home.
