Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival: Concert for Children @ Walla Walla Public Library

Musical Lightening: If a Tree Falls in the Forest, but No One Is Around, Does It Make a Sound?

Question 1: How do humans make sound?
Answer 1: With their BREATH (voice and wind instruments), their TOUCH (string and percussion instruments) and their sense of HEARING (if a tree falls in the forest, am I right?).

Question 2: What if a human could make sound by just moving their body, but touching nothing?
Answer 2: It would either take MAGIC or an instrument called, the THEREMIN.

Guess what! We have the world’s best theremin player, plus a group of her best musical friends. Come experience the wondrous magical world of musical movement with the musicians of WWCMF. All ages welcome!
